Fees

How do fees and payment work?

Fees are based upon the type of psychotherapy service (individual, couple or group), type of consultation and evaluation (third party assessments), and the length of the appointment.  We will be able to let you know the cost of your requested service when we speak to you on the phone.

We are “out-of-network provider” providers, which means our professional services qualify for reimbursement under many insurance plans. While we do not participate directly with any insurance company, you can apply for reimbursement using the billing statements we provide.

If you would like to use your out-of-network benefits, we recommend that you contact your insurance provider prior the meeting to clarify what reimbursement you can expect. With your written permission, we can also provide your insurance company with any additional information needed to process your claim.

You may choose not to use insurance and instead pay for services “out of pocket”. Clients who do this have an additional level of confidentiality and control over their own treatment because treatment decisions are made between the therapist and the client without input from an insurance company.

Payment is required at the time of service. You can pay by check, cash, or credit card, including Flexible Spending Account (FSA) credit cards, if you have one.
