Dr. Karen Wasserstein graduated from the Rutgers University Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology and has worked with individuals, couples and groups in the Maryland area since moving here in 1998. Karen focuses on both the here and now as well as on the deeper function and causes of thoughts and behavior. Karen will work with a client on both practical strategies and on the underlying understanding. She uses a multidisciplinary approach with a specific focus on the self. Karen’s focus is on working with clients in late adolescence through adulthood and has specific training in infertility issues and couples therapy.
