Some adoption agencies require that individuals and couples wanting to adopt have a psychological evaluation as part of the application process. This usually includes psychological testing and a clinical interview assessing the applicant’s emotional status and readiness to adopt. Because of our experience in infertility, our practice is able to conduct this evaluation and provide the appropriate report to adoption agencies. We do not, however, conduct home studies.
